TurnAround Counseling Services, LLC (TCS) offers a variety of solutions for the challenges people face daily. Individual, marriage and family counseling services are offered to adults, adolescents and children. We also offer Substance Abuse Assessment, Treatment, and Referral; Interventions; Parenting and Anger Management Classes; Drug & Alcohol Screening; Substance Abuse Evaluations for the Department of Transportation, as well as Psychological Testing. TCS is the treatment provider for the Cullman County Drug Court program as well as a referral source for the Department of Human Resources, Court Referral, Probation and Parole, District Attorney’s Office as well as other local organizations.
Most insurances are accepted as well as Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Private Pay. We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. Weekend and after-hours appointments are available for certain programs.
As the owner and director of TCS I want to make sure that everyone receives services from an open, ethical, non-judgmental, and honest perspective. I utilize a variety of counseling techniques and approaches in my work with clients depending on their current state, condition, or abilities. All counseling approaches, procedures, and theories used will be discussed with you at your request. Before receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology I graduated from Dowling Junior High & Cold Springs High Schools. I have been in practice since 2002. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor & Associate Licensed Counselor Supervisor through the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling & a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I am a trained ARISE interventionist and a Master Addiction Counselor through the National Association for Alcohol & Drug Addiction Counselors to include certification by the Department of Transportation as a Substance Abuse Professional. I have also had specialized training in treating Gambling Addiction and work closely with the Alabama Council on Compulsive Gambling.
